The Supervisory Board of the WAMU Banking Commission held its 149th session on Thursday, September 25, and Friday, September 26, 2025, at the headquarters of the supervisory Authority in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, under the chairmanship of Mr. Jean-Claude Kassi BROU, Governor of the BCEAO.

At the conclusion of the deliberations, the Supervisory Authority made several decisions against covered institutions summoned for hearings as part of disciplinary proceedings. Furthermore, the Banking Commission issued favorable opinions regarding requests for exemptions from the nationality requirement submitted by WAMU banks.
