The WAMU Banking Commission therefore recommends that the public do not enter into contact with the instigators of these operations, and do not send money or reveal banking or credit card information to anyone claiming to represent the WAMU Banking Commission or to have a banking relationship with it.
The WAMU Banking Commission further emphasizes that it cannot be held liable if its name, logo, or address is misused for purposes intended to mislead the public. Anyone who encounters suspicious documents or receives such documents referencing the WAMU Banking Commission or purportedly originating from it is urged to immediately alert local police services or seek advice from the competent national authorities.
