The Supervisory College of the WAMU Banking Commission held its 140th session on Friday, May 10, 2024, by videoconference, under the chairmanship of Mr. Jean-Claude Kassi BROU, Governor of the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO).

At the end of the deliberations, the Supervisory Authority took several decisions relating in particular to the situation of the institutions subject to the regulation. In addition, it ruled on applications for authorisation to set up branches submitted by credit institutions and validated the preventive recovery plans of systemically important banking institutions established in the Union.
