The Supervisory College of the WAMU Banking Commission held its 129th session on Friday August 5, 2022, at the premises of the headquarters of the Control Authority in Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire), under the chairmanship of Mr. Jean- Claude Kassi BROU, Governor of the BCEAO.

At the end of the deliberations, the Banking Commission took several decisions concerning the situation of credit institutions as well as the requests for prior authorization or derogation submitted by banks. In addition, the Supervisory Authority validated the preventive recovery plans submitted by certain Systemically Important Banking Institutions (EBIS).
