A seminar was organized on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the headquarters of the Central Bank in Dakar (Senegal), for the members of the two (2) Colleges of the Banking Commission.

This session is part of the dynamics of improving the effectiveness of the actions carried out by the Banking Commission, thanks in particular to the major reforms of the regulatory and prudential framework governing the banking sector, undertaken by the regulator in recent years.

The seminar focused mainly on the banking crisis resolution mechanism, the supervision of Islamic finance activities, the mapping of money laundering and terrorist financing risks, and the prudential system applicable to credit institutions and financial companies.
