The Supervisory Board of the WAMU Banking Commission held its 150th session on Friday, October 31, 2025, via videoconference, under the chairmanship of Mr. Jean-Claude Kassi BROU, Governor of the BCEAO.

At the conclusion of the deliberations, the Supervisory Authority issued favorable opinions regarding licensing requests and various authorizations. It also approved the preventive recovery plans of Domestic Systemically Important Banks (D-SIBs) operating within the Union.

Furthermore, the Banking Commission adopted the updated list of D-SIBs for the year 2025. It also ruled on the status of institutions under close supervision and/or provisional administration.
