The Supervisory Board of the WAMU Banking Commission held its 147th session on Wednesday, June 25, and Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the headquarters of the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) in Dakar, Senegal, under the chairmanship of Mr. Jean-Claude Kassi BROU, Chairman of the Banking Commission.

At the conclusion of the deliberations, the Supervisory Authority made several decisions following hearings held as part of disciplinary proceedings against executives of recently audited institutions. It also issued favorable opinions regarding a request for prior authorization and exemptions from the nationality requirement submitted by WAMU credit institutions.
